Introduction
Cruciform, operated by Brady Anderson as a sole proprietorship, collects and handles information as described below. This document describes how we plan to handle information today (waitlist) and once the app launches (accounts, prayer, journal, struggles, discernment). It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before full public launch.
Information we may collect
We may collect information you choose to provide (such as name, email, and preferences) and basic technical information needed to operate the service.
Waitlist information
If you join the early access list, we may collect your first name, email, platform preference, feature interests, and optional comments. This is used to keep you informed and to plan the app.
App account information
When accounts launch, we may store account credentials securely and support standard sign-in methods.
Prayer, journal, and struggle entries
Prayer, journal, Freedom Path, and discernment entries are treated as sensitive. They are private by default. Sharing should require a clear user action every time.
How information may be used
To operate, secure, and improve the app, communicate with you, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.
AI and privacy posture
Raw private prayer, journal, or custom struggle text should not be sent to third-party providers unless you have explicitly opted in.
Third-party providers
We may use vetted providers for hosting, email, analytics, authentication, or infrastructure, under appropriate agreements.
Sharing
Sharing of your entries is not automatic. You decide what is shared and when.
Data retention
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.
Deletion requests
You can request deletion of waitlist or account-related information at any time. See Data Deletion.
Children and family
Cruciform is not designed for young children. Family-related features will follow appropriate safeguards.
